Owen's Pedigree

 

On Saturday, February 7, 2009, Owen passed away due to heart problems.   He was cherished and loved by Ardith and Peter Johnson, their children and grandchildren, as well as Gibson, his half brother.  He was one of the kindest and sweetest boxers you could ever know.   I remember when Ardith called to tell me that Gibson was outside knocking the fence posts off their picket fence.  She found out because Owen came to her crying frantically to tell her!   Owen was a very special boxer and lived his life to the fullest, happy and energetic right up to the last moment of his life.   I feel blessed that I was able to share in his life by watching him from time to time when Ardith went out-of-town.   He will be missed by everyone that knew him!
